Description
This is a project to allow users to bet on Dota 2 competitive matches with keys. This works by using a bot that keeps track of upcoming matches, bets, odds, and balances. The bot keeps a balance for every user who bets. You can increase your balance by winning bets or depositing keys. Match results are retrieved automatically and then confirmed by the administrator. (12-24 hours after a match is scheduled). This is to assure accuracy of the application and to mediate cases where the bet was somehow unfair (ex. G-League Showmatch where the western all-star team was forced to random). After the match results are confirmed, all winners are paid out. You can withdraw your winnings immediately, place new bets, or simply keep your winnings in your account balance.

Deposits
To deposit keys, simply invite the bot to trade, add keys to the window, and click accept. The bot will process the items transferred and adjust your balance. Use the command /bal to get your balance.

Placing Bets
15 minutes before a match is scheduled to start, it will become closed and no one will be able to bet on it.

First, get a list of all of the open matches by typing /matches or /list[/b]

If you want to bet on match [1] type 1 and hit ENTER. If you want to bet on match [15] type 15 and hit ENTER.

The minimum bet is 0.5 Keys. However you can interval by hundredths. So you can bet 0.51 Keys or 13.37 keys if you'd like.

If you accidentally selected the wrong match, you will have two chances to cancel your bet. You can tell the bot you'd like to bet 0 keys when the bot asks you how much you'd like to bet. The bot will also ask you at the end to confirm your bet, at this point you can cancel the bet by typing 2.

Once a bet has been confirmed, it can not be cancelled. ie All bets are final.


Odds
The house takes 1/10th of the bets placed. The winners then split up the losers bets evenly. If winner A bet 10 keys, they would get more than someone who had only bet 5. Because of how this system works, one side can not have more bets than eight times what the other side has. If there is only 10 keys bet for team A, there can not be more than 80 keys bet for team B.

Cancelled Matches
If there are not enough bets, or if the bets are so onesided that the winners would not actually win money, all bets for the match are cancelled. Additionally, bets will be cancelled if the match isn't played or there is some sort of unfair advantage that would render the bets invalid (such as a match getting rescheduled to 30 minutes earlier and people were able to bet while the match was in progress). When bets are cancelled, they are automatically and immediately refunded in full.
