General Rules of Conduct (Also known as Common Sense)

1. Be adults. This doesn't need to be explained.

2. Language and Content. This is a server/group operated by adults and played on by adults (18 yrs of age and older). Be mindful of this. If sensitive to language or content, log off.

3. Privacy. All posts in this group are to remain in this group. Borrow ideas if you will, but as far as what is said her, it stays here. Consider this Vegas. This Vegas rule includes communications between group members in chat unless it is an issue that needs to be brought up to an admin.

4. Harassment. No member of this group/player on this server will harass another, period. If you need a clear definition of what this is, speak to an admin.

5. Gaming. This is a gaming server/group. It is meant to be fun. Note that, FUN. Douchebags will NOT be tolerated. On that note, realize that behind every player is a real person. Respect that and when in game, draw the distinction between your gaming persona and you. We do not and will not tolerate the drama if that line gets blurred.

6. Dating. This group is not a platform for dating in any way, shape or form. Does this mean it will not occur? No, but here are DJMM rules for it in context of this group. If a person has not made it explicitely clear on what their status is, (ie married, single, unavailable), it will be assumed they are not available. This goes for both males and females. Relationships can and will develop at times, that's fine, but for the love of cheese puffs, it will be handled like adults and when one or both parties choose to end such things, the group will not regulate the outcome. That is solely for the two people (and only the two people) involved to handle. See the rule oh harassment and "Vegas" if you need guidelines

7. Admins and Sergeant at Arms. I like to call this the MODERATOR bane. Some of us are admins in this group, but there is also one (happens to be myself for now) who is designated to handle problems in the group quietly. Use this to your advantage, use it responsibly, and use it to avoid the big "D"...drama. I will keep your information confidential because that is courtesy. If you are not comfortable with myself, please, see another admin who you do trust. On the flip-side, see the "Vegas" rule for your part in that.

*** I want to add one small thing to my general rules of conduct that I post for all my groups. It is this. Unless you are truly in the know, don't assume anything about the real life of another person. It is easy to get drawn up into the drama on here and parrot things others tell you about another person that may or may not be true. I ask this of everyone. Be here to game and if you are privileged enough to get to know someone personally, and by that I mean THEY tell you about themselves, then so be it. Otherwise, keep to gaming only. Makes for a better time for us all and keeps things on the level. - Cathi
