12 years of development...

Duke Nukem Forever would finally hit store shelves on June 10th, 2011 to an international audience, June 14th in North America and March 29th, 2012 in Japan. After all of that time in development HELL, the king's return would unfortunately be met with critical acclaim and poor reception from gamers across the spectrum, many believing it to be a "copy-paste shooter game." However, this did NOT hinder the views of a large group of people. Some new to the franchise and some stepping away from the Duke 3D scene to enter a whole new realm of fun.

June 12th, 2021 marked a day where we all came out to Twitch or to this very group page to celebrate Duke Nukem Forever's 10th Anniversary with a competitive tournament that had a $200 grand prize! Our winners have since been declared and they are:

1st Place: Jelley0 = $200 Winner!
2nd Place: Mr. Tediore = $100 Winner! (Charity)
3rd Place: Vanilla Whale = $50 Winner!

This page may have started out as a gathering for players who'd like to play in the big anniversary tournament but popularity has shown that there is more to these events than just playing Duke on his birthday. We enjoy Duke Nukem Forever and the tournaments before have proven that we MUST do more friendly competitions in the future! However, if you ever see another one announced, know that there will be fun, there will be blood and there will be many more things to come! I can not and will not promise anything, but one thing I'm boldly certain of, is that there WILL be more tournaments!

New Moderators Needed! - Some Experience Required.

We're looking to fill a few moderation seats in the Duke Nukem Forever Community Tournaments group. We currently have 3 positions available.

This is completely volunteer-based and the qualifications are:

At least 1 whole year of being in this group.
High-level experience and competence with Duke Nukem Forever (2011)'s Multiplayer. (Tournament knowledge is a ++)
Clean track record in the tournaments, the group and Steam itself. (No DQs, no penalties on your account, etc.).
Calm, decisive and responsible demeanor in handling issues. (NO POWER-TRIPPERS)

What is expected from you in this position:

Must have fair, respectful and level-headed judgement processing.
Must be willing to deliberate when decisions need to be discussed regarding the group.
Must have a laid-back attitude towards moderation and a friendly demeanor towards staff and members.
English is required.
NO F***ING POWER-TRIPPERS!!

March 24th 2024 // Clan Tournament Map Pack! - BE READY!!

Good day everyone!

This is the FINAL release of the build for DNFCT's 3v3 Clan Tournament! Please follow the link here[drive.google.com] and HAVE THIS MAP PACK READY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS!!!! Follow the README instructions included in the zip to properly install and uninstall the pack.

For those of you who have downloaded the pack, make sure you don't have an earlier version. Please redownload the pack if you do. You'll know your pack is up-to-date if Penthouse's name was changed to Duke's Penthouse in your multiplayer section. If you're one of the few who is having trouble seeing the new names, just load up one of the main 10 maps (NOT DLC) and see if the new maps load.

If you're having trouble with the maps AND the names changing, please ensure that Steam isn't overwriting your local files with cloud saved files. Update your DNF with the map pack and turn off cloud storage for Duke Nukem Forever. This should ensure that the game isn't overwritten with files on Steam's end.

If you have any other issues, please reach out to me (StarNukem) right away! I'd like for there to be as few hiccups in the setup of this event as possible. With that said, any players who are NOT ready for the event will have their matches continued without them until they get everything working. We will NOT hold up the tournament for anyone who isn't ready. Please don't be "that guy."
