A group for ex Jiblix-ers (and a couple of current) to meet and play some games.

Please let me know if anyone else needs/wants inviting. Or even better, just invite them yourselves.

I think we should try and organise something somewhat regularly. Currently we'll say the first Wednesday of every month could be the main meetup. Don't have to plan a game in particular, can just decide on the day. Don't even have to all play something together. Just hang out and chat for a bit while playing some games.

Also feel free to use the group to organise other games and things. I've made it so that anyone can make an event in the group, and you can even set an event to start right away and just alert people to the fact that you're up for playing something.

Oh and we need an avatar for the group so please feel free to offer one up.

Civ game now up and running

Hey all,

Alan has very kindly setup a game of Civ for us. To join in simply follow these instructions:

-Load up Civ IV: Beyond the Sword
-Go to Direct IP Game
-Domain is "codellama.com", password "jagexlol"
-Pick a civ. If you're asked for a password, then you've picked someone elses civ so choose a different one.
-Set up your password. You need this to log back into your civ.

There are 7 player slots open (Alan and I already have 2 of them). If you join and it says waiting for another civ, then you'll have to wait for someone else to pick the civ that's currently waiting to take a turn. Make sure to set an email address in the "Your details" menu and you'll be notified when it's your turn.

There is a turn timer of 48 hours, so if a player hasn't taken their turn in that time, it simply skips it and moves on. I realise Kevin may miss a couple of turns due to this but it should only be one or two which shouldn't penalise you much.
