Contagion Group for Friendly Players

Contagion is a great game, but playing with random people can have its drawbacks. Co-op can be nearly impossible, server chat can be obnoxious, rude, or worse. This group was formed to help bring nice, friendly Contagion players together. This group will remain private to assure that trolling, bigotry, rage-quiting, and general obnoxiousness is not so prevailant on the servers. Here you will find hand-picked players who are good people and fun to play with and who, when playing co-op, work together.

Read the discussions below to find like-minded players for specific game modes, how to add new members, and review the rules of conduct.

Servers going down next month

Our private servers will be going offline at the end of the month(unless of course the group donates to keep them up) and will not be reinstated unless significant updates are made to this game. Unfortunatly player usage has dropped so low it no longer makes sense for me to continue to carry the server on my own. It has been a blast playing with you all and I hope that in the future the game gets updated and the player base returns, but untill then I will hopefully be seeing you all in other games.

If anyone would like to make a case as to why we should keep the servers up, I am willing to take into consideration, but barring that or a contribution it looks like we will be moving on to the next thing. Good luck all, and game on

Last nights tournament was quite the success, we nearly had a full 16 player server for 3 hours! Thanks to all for playing and congrats to Seth for winning and taking the prestigious(lol) Player of the Week. Be sure to enter again next friday for your chance to win. I will be increasing the value of the prizes, as Tom Snooze and Boss Bob Ross have pitched in and donated to the server, so be sure to thank them! Good luck all and Game ON

Just one member short of triple digits! Not bad for a new group. Been slacking a bit in the orginazation department, sorry for that, but will do my best to start arranging games again. Lets keep this community active, big updates are coming!

This is what I was talking about with the flashlight [imgur.com] I wish there was more stuff behind the person in the pic. Furniture and whatnot would show the way the glare looks, for better or worse.
