11. If you RDM someone and leave, this can result in a ban between 3 days and several weeks depending on how bad it was.

13. Prop surfing into restricted areas is not allowed, and shooting people who are propsurfing is not allowed either, everything else is okay.
    
    *this means using props to kill someone in any way, it counts as RDM unless you're a T

14. Do not attempt to access areas that you otherwise have no access to*

    Claiming and blocking
20. Do not block anyone's path on purpose in any way
    
21. You are not allowed to claim places - this means blocking an area and claiming it as your own, and telling others you'll kill them if they try to come in.
    
22. You CAN warn someone CLEARLY 3 times with at least if they are following you, before killing them.

23. Do not AFK time farm for extensive periods of time

Abbreviations, game tips, helpful information
• KOS - Kill On Sight. This is called out when someone has been revealed as Traitor and means that you should kill that person if you see them.
  usage: kos john or john is a Traitor!
  
• RDM - Random DeathMatch. This is killing someone for no reason.
  
• When you get killed randomly, type !report and explain the situation. If there's an admin online, it will be dealt with. Please do not harrass our admins about your report. We try to have a member of staff on at all times.
  
• Don't bug us about becoming a Trial Mod or a Moderator. You need level 50 on the server to even qualify.
  
• Press F1 in-game to read the basic TTT rules.
  
• You can use emojis in the in-game chat by clicking the ghost icon on the right when you are typing, or typing the appropriate abbreviation for an emoji.
  
• You must warn someone 3 times before killing them if they are blocking you or an area.
  
• If you make trading agreements with someone unofficially about server items, it's at your own risk!
  
  
  In detail:
  
  These are the rules to follow when playing on our servers. They should be followed by both staff and all the other players. It is also a guideline for staff on how to apply punishments. If anything happens to you and you feel as though these rules were not applied or you were treated unfairly as a punishment, feel free to report abuse in the appropriate topic in the group.
  
  
  1. Do not RDM
     RDM (random deathmatch), meaning to kill someone for no reason when you're innocent or killing someone on suspicion, will firstly result in a warning. Warnings will remain active for an hour - inactive warnings are only archived for reference and will not further affect your gameplay. Starting from 2 warnings you will receive autoslays with every new warnings, at 4 warnings you will be kicked and at 6 warnings you will be banned. Repeated RDM and mass RDM can result in multiple slays and eventually a ban. RDMing a Detective will give you a warning and an autoslay.
     
     Leaving after RDM is a week ban or even longer
     
     
  2. Do not ghost
     Ghosting means that you're telling your friend who the Traitors are after you died, which gives you an unfair advantage and is not allowed. This is a week ban or longer depending on how bad you've broken this rule.
     
     
  3. Do not mic/chat spam
     Don't use voice chat all the time, let there be some peace and also try to let others talk. Nobody understands what anyone is saying if everyone is talking at the same time. You may also be gagged if you're under 13 years old.
     
     
  4. Hacking/cheating
     Any form of hacking and cheating will result in a permanent ban. If you're a member of staff and suspect someone of cheating, you should not inform them or anyone except other members of staff. You need solid proof before you ban someone. In many cases there is an automatic system in place to take care of cheaters and will automatically ban them.
     
     
  5. Be respectful to others, especially to staff
     This one is pretty obvious, we're all just trying to have a good time so don't be a ♥♥♥♥. Messing with staff is always a bad idea.
     This also means that you shouldn't argue with people of a higher rank than you - whether they are staff or not.
     
     
  6. Do not constantly bother staff + do not send false reports
     If you got RDM'd, there are logs and other ways to resolve the issue, as long as you report the problem to our staff. This is done through the RDM manager after you die, or by typing !report. Do not lie on the report as there are logs to verify what really happened, and a very detailed way of watching how you died and what happened. If you do not forgive someone on a report and the staff considers that you are wrong, you will be punished for sending a false report instead of the person you are trying to report, so keep this in mind when sending a report.
  
  
  Some tips and stuff:
  • There is no rule against prop surfing, but do so at your own risk.
    
    
  • If you get into a heated discussion with someone, keep it off the server and deal with it on Steam. Don't involve the entire server in your problem.
    
    
  • Don't be rude - do not intentionally upset anyone. Try to be understanding and admit if you are wrong or crossed the line. Apologize. Be a good person.
  
  
  And for staff:
  
  
  1. Don't finish someone else's report if they marked it as In Progress.
     
  2. Respect those higher in rank than you
     
  3. Don't abuse your commands, don't slap or annoy people to the point where it's annoying
     
  4. Try to be as objective as you can when dealing with reports. This means trying to keep a neutral opinion towards all affected parties. This also means that you should be capable of dealing with your own reports.
