<<<What is Club 7000?>>>
Club 7000 is an exclusive Steam Group created to allow the coming together of like-minded people, who, for whatever reason, have a large and distinguished Steam collection.

<<<Why "Club 7000"?>>>
The name is basically an amalgamation, if you like, of the (original) major requirements. Seven (7) games no longer sold on Steam, and one thousand (1000) games listed on the Steam profile page; ergo Club 7000.

<<<How is the selling of non-gaming software going to affect Club 7000?>>>
As long as a user's Steam profile continues to list their games, it shouldn't.

<<<Expectations?>>>
Club 7000 is designed, by virtue of it's requirements, for dedicated long time Steam gamers. We enjoy having a large collection, and for some of us, having removed games is a special kind of bonus. We share a common passion for increasing our Steam game count, and meeting like minded users. Club 7000's main purpose is to facilitate this ideology.

Additionally, members could discuss an upcoming game, ßeta or pre-release that is available for purchase elsewhere but not (yet) on the Steam store. This could include any Kickstarter (or similar) scenario where a game has been confirmed, at least by the project owners, as coming to Steam.

Finally, perhaps a Club 7000 member is aware of a legitimate way to obtain activation codes for a game no longer sold on Steam. Maybe they contacted the game developer and were told they could still purchase keys directly from them. In such a case, sharing this information would be greatly appreciated, perhaps even rewarded.

<<<Why Nutty?>>>
Nutty has no self restraint when it comes to sugary products. He's addicted. He eats until it hurts. Some of us are the same with Steam games. We buy until it hurts. Then, we buy some more. It's a vicious cycle.



Membership requirements:

Commencing January 1st, 2018, no new public memberships will be offered - for the foreseeable future. (Until at least 2020)


(Sponsored members must have 500 games* that are no longer available for purchase on the Steam store, and their Steam profile must list 5000 or more actual games. Their account must be VAC/Trade/etc ban free, and they must be of good character.)


*To meet the criteria for the removed games, said games must not be available at any of the regional Steam stores. They must also not be F2P, MMOGs that have turned F2P and use the same appid, or similar type games. Additional conditions may apply.
