2002's largest all-female CS clan

On September 24, 2002, SweetiePie* and *BaD*GiRL* created the all-female clan |Br@tS|.

With over 30 members in the US, 1 in Norway and 2 in Canada, |Br@tS| became the largest all-female Counter Strike clan in the United States.

The mission of getting ladies together consistently for scrims and matches proved to be challenging, but |Br@tS| became a family to many of these ladies.

In 2003, www.clanbrats.com was one of the most active CS clan websites on the internet. Sponsorships followed, providing free web hosting, servers and a ShoutCast server. In late 2003, SweetiePie* managed to bring 1,161 listeners into the Cyber Athletic League (CAL) Radio ShoutCast stream, which was the largest listener volume CAL had at one time by someone other then a match commentator.

In 2004, |Br@tS| became the first ever all-female clan to create a male divison, |Br@tS|BoYZ. The male division survived for approximately six months.

In late 2005, the ladies of |Br@tS| started playing other games, started families, and started to live lives outside of Steam.

This group has been created to bring the ladies back together, for fun times and maybe even a few late night games/scrims. We also welcome any of our friends from "the old days" to reconnect with us. New friends, feel free to add us too - because there's nothing like playing with a woman who truly appreciates the game... even if you don't like to get owned by a girl :)
