A Star Wars Roleplay is a character roleplay group based in the Star Wars Legends universe.

Current Year: 21 ATC, 3632 BBY - 1st Year of the Alliance against the Eternal Empire.

Both the Old Republic and Reconsituted Sith Empire were brought to its knees by the swift campaigns of the Eternal Empire, annihilating most of their naval capacities and enforcing their rule upon the Galaxy.
The Battle of Asylum though showed the Galaxy that the Eternal Empire was not invincible. Under the leadership of the individual known as the Outlander, an alliance from both the Republic and Empire started to gather on Odessen, forming a coalition to seek freedom and the overthrowing of the tyrannical rule of the Eternal Empire.

Hello Everyone!

After a break of two months I decided to open this Roleplay again. I am missing to roleplay in a Star Wars setting and would really enjoy to do so once more. Good memories and helpful expiriences are left of the last sessions we did in this group.

Instead of reenacting an entire war with different sides parttaking and fighting, it is much easier and more community friendly when everyone is together in the same team. It is easier to make up a good story, to give everyone the opportunity to participate in events, to avoid non-character scenarios like commanding battles and the horror to moderate them in chat. To still make it possible for most people to play what they like to play, I have thought about a setup not far in the future of the Great Galactic War.

You will be part of the Alliance against the Eternal Empire under the leadership of the Outlander. Which means that characters from all factions can basically work together or not.
Your character left its original faction to keep fighting the Eternal Empire and joined the Alliance, why and how - is up to you of course. How well you fit in, is up to you. No characters outside the Alliance are accepted. Exilants or deserters from the Eternal Empire and Zakuul are accepted as well.

The rules have also been slightly updated and changed, so make sure to check them. Our Roleplay takes place a few months after the establishment of the Alliance Headquarters on Odessen. Additionally no force sensitives higher than Tier 3 are allowed.
On a sidenote, I am considering if I should divide the RP into EU and NA.

Anyway, I hope to see some old faces again and maybe some new ones!

After the battle of Karideph the contrahents used the time to reinforce their troops and consolidate their positions. The Sith Empire now launches a new offensive to take the systems Shesharile and Mestra, one rich with gases and the other with abundant mineral sources.

Both campaign are only possible with a good fleet and army coordination, as it is a matter of taking 'small' facilities instead of an entire planet. Landing, boarding and infiltration are required to take the factories and refining stations without destroying them.

The Republic managed to take these targets in the first years of the conflict and has now to defend their stations to maintain the resource supply which is mandatory for the core worlds due to the Mandalorian Blockade.

Friday 5th January, 11.00pm GMT

The Sith and Republic GMs have to decide about the force they wish to deploy. Personal forces included (in its entirety now). Some initiative is asked to find some players as sub-commanders as these battles shall be filling the next events. Some infiltration or scouting as a start would be appreciated.
I will update the forces which are available aside from the personal ones.

I want to apologise for my longer than expected absence. I hope interest did not fade and we can continue as we did before Christmas. We shall start into the new year with the Minos Cluster again, it offers plenty of opportunities, war or personal related. Some characters can finally use their personal forces as they wish to.

By tomorrow I hope that I have dealt with all application matters which are ongoing right now.
I will continue the Jedi Story as soon as I got to both players, no worries. I hope that the other internal roleplays are continuing as well.
