The Dark Queen has stolen the Sun, the Moon and the Stars. Follow the princess Aurora, the daughter of an Austrian duke, in Lemuria in her quest to recapture the three sources of light. Helped by Igniculus the firefly, Capilli and many other friends you will meet, go through the Lemuria Kingdom and fight the dark creatures of the forest and other enemies and defeat the Dark Queen.

Steam DLC is available for Child of Light

Hello everyone.

And here we are, that fated day : Child of Light is released!

I hope you guys are having/will have a blast playing this game. From what I've seen, people seem to enjoy it quite much, great news :)

This post is just a heads up to inform you, if you didn't notice, that some Downloadable Content (DLC) is available on Child of Light's store page on Steam.

In a previous announcement, I explained the differences between the Steam edition and the Deluxe edition, and back then we didn't know if we'd ever have the chance to have both the Dark/Light skins for Aurora, the Golem pack, the runes packs and so on. Looks like we no longer have to worry about that, as you can buy them as DLC.
As a player though, I suggest you do not use the runes or the Healing skill from the Light pack just yet, as it is bound to make the game easier, which kills the fun! The first playthrough is always the one you will enjoy the most, and you can't make a first time happen again. Ultimately, of course, it's up to you to decide how you'll go through that ephemeral but likely unforgettable first experience.

I held out on buying this until the summer sales, even though I definitely would have paid $15 for it to begin with. Beyond excited to finally get this game started... Just waiting on the download!

second time thru now currently lvl50(aurora). After im done completing game second time thru , im gonna play it on hard should have all upgrades for her by then- sure wished the storyline was about twice as longs as it was! Great time playin it was like a New age chrono trigger kinda vibe- awesome artwork. and neat storyline.
