Intro


- Legends and tales are often bits and pieces of a truth that has happened so long ago. But for some, these legends and tales are more than that, a dark past in which evil was able to freely roam the world. A time when darkness and chaos shadowed over all that was kind and peaceful. This would be known to some as the black dawn of chaos, or the age of reckoning, however this happened so long ago that many do not remember what really happened. This age of reckoning was all started when a famous half elf became king of Malcor. This king was twisted and turned from the light and had become an agent of chaos and darkness. He waged a twenty year war against the other realms of Bretonnia which led to the beginning of the reckoning.

It truly was dark times, however, after a long and gruesome war in which darkness dominated for the most part, they were eventually defeated and later banished. Since then the high realms of Bretonnia have been recovering but the war took a heavy toll and many regions were burnt to ash. The war itself took many casualties, not just soldiers, but civilians perished when their cities were sacked and razed by the darkness. The high powers that brought man and elves together were split, no one trusted the other for they all blamed each other for this kings rise to power.

But evil returns in the form of new lord who seeks to claim all that is his. A new age of darkness dawns on the high realms and it is up to this younger generation to put aside harsh feelings and acts of aggression so they can unite as one and prevent evil from consuming Bretonnia.
