DayZ Atlanta 73 Server

Those that have made Atlanta 73 their home, this is where you need to be for cheat/hack reporting. Please have a name and if at all possible, a screenshot to back up your claims.

We do have the extensive logging of various scripts/command running and some may accidentaly get kicked by the system innocently.

Atlanta 73 to shutdown... Or convert to private server

As Kahai mentioned, as of now if there is little interest in this server, I will likely let the server go down on the 24'th of october. The server has been running nicely for over 4 months but most of us have stopped playing DayZ mainly because hackers are too much to keep up with and we woudl rather wait for the stand alone game to come out.

If there is enough interest however, I would be willing to convert Atlanta 73 to a Private server which would give us total control over the server and be able to modify and track weapons and vehicles throughout the map and be able to wipe obviously hacked items. This change would also let us change the server to Fallujah as well. This change is approved by Rocket/HFB servers. So if anyone in this steam group is still playing/interested I'd be willing to make this change, let me know!

Just a heads up guys, this may be the final month for this server (for now) due to a bunch of us taking a break from DayZ (Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2, just taking a break, etc) so if you have weapons you'd like to keep, start moving em!

9/19/12 -- Looks like the server is down due to hoster's technical difficulty. Ticket will be issued to them shortly.

Just connected, told I was killed and sent to debug with someone else. Tried to respawn and didn't get the male/female screen and had no flashlight/etc. Oh well, crap happens and it's alpha, just giving the players a heads up

I've been playing this server for a while because I'm in Florida and I just saw the server message to join the group. I love how you guys keep up with your bans and maintenance, keep up the great work guys you're my only server if I can help it.

Banned someone using an interesting script/variable -- TitleText [format['Hah, ALT+F4? Nah you dont get off that easy. I remapped those keys to suicide.'], 'PLAIN DOWN'];
