Been a very long time since I've posted anything here; reminds me of the good old days when we all loved to play Ark. Oh how things have changed. We're still hosting and haven't gone anywhere. Doing a Breeding/Taming boost for the next week at x30; all are welcome.

I apologize for not making this announcement sooner. We are once again approaching the end of the season and the beginning of another.
We are fervently working towards getting everything lined up for our next wipe; which we have scheduled for Friday, 3/23.
Again, I apologize for the short notice. In the meantime, I would encourage all of you, above all else, to have fun and go ham until wipe. This is our "PURGE" and there are no rules. Once we wipe, we will return to our structured system and start the new season

Any idea how the situation with EU players connections looks like? Some time ago i played lots on Asgard, and stopped only cosue of horibble disconection issues. I am from Poland and as i remeber, i tested some servers back then, all over the word, had bigest problems with Asgard :(.

We were troubleshooting issues with the server manager locking up; the rollbacks were a result of testing the integrity of the save files to rule out any file corruption as a possible cause. That test was a bust, so a full wipe was conducted and rates increased to x25 All; again to test. That test was successful as the server suffered no lag or locking up issues. The original save files from Rag were backed up and can be restored. However, both server's will be fully wiped when Aberration is released in 8 days, so the question will be asked whether the community wants the original files restored for eight days, or stay with the x25 and new mods for eight days?

Server rolled back quite a lot and my clan lost a lot of work and progress (and otters ;-; ) is there a mod around who can get in touch?

Got a question, my game crashed while I was on Scorched Earth, now I am unable to spawn on Ragnarok. How to start from Scorched earth or how to transfer myself back to Ragnarok? HELP

Any chance that this server could enable floating text damage? Honestly find it helpful in alot of scenarios and it doesn't have any impact on performance at all. Just prefer playing with it

Server wipes vary from 6 to 12 weeks, based off of server performance and/or necessity. Last wipe was 7/28

I got knocked down, I tried to get up again.

Over the past few weeks I've been asked this question a lot:
"What is the difference between a hardcore gamer and a casual gamer?"
After much deliberation I believe I've finally come up with a universal set of conditions that defines the difference between the two.

A casual gamer is someone who when they come home from work or when they finish cooking their family dinner and other things of the like, they hop onto their PC's for a bit of fun and escape to a fantasy world to explore lands and experience new and unique challenges!

Where as a hardcore gamer is someone who games whenever they have time no matter the cost. These kinds of people commonly fail to do average real world chores and responsibilities to game instead. These are the tribes who have members who work full time jobs yet has their tribes on on call status (whether voluntary or not) just because of an attack leaving little to no time for sleep.

I figure this should pretty much sum things up.

It is done! After much work and deliberation our Steam Group and all of it's contents have been officially and properly updated. I've also taken the liberty to utilize enhanced editing features to make it easier to visually navigate each page and find key bullets and points to locate specific details for the users benefit. I've also created and updated all hyperlinks for each bit of corresponding information in which it partains to. I hope you all like the updates and find all the information provided useful to better improve your experience upon Asgard.

Server down?

I really appreciate your honesty and investment in our community CrowBrah. We've been around for a long time, have made many mistakes a long the way, and are always looking for ways to make our ARK experience the best it can be.
We'll always be here because there's no 'OFF' switch for this server or this amazing community.

Just wanted to let yall know. I love yalls server. Been on in for close to a week now. No plans on leaving. The wife and I are having a blast even though we been raided multiple times, relocated, and regather all our stuff. Either way we enjoy it and hope to become the strongest 2 man tribe lol. Sometime laggy but, overall is an enjoyable experience. I have made friends, enemies, previous enemies that are now friends. It's crazy out there. Just trying to make it through another day. No matter, you have our residency from now on. AsgardAwakens rocks! Keep up the great work and awesome job finding the right people who can actually be called " a supportive admin."
