Hello everyone, I'm Snerpes™ I've been an admin on Asgard for about a year now & a half now.

Hey everyone, it's been brought to my attention that a cluster would be enjoyable for the community. From the straw poll taken yesterday, it looks like 57% are in favor of The Island.
So, here we go... I want to use this weekend to benchmark the server and open up elements of Ark that we cannot get on Ragnarok alone.
Friday night; 8 pm EST, I will launch 2 clusters to run with Ragnarok: The Island & Scorched Earth. This will only be for the weekend, by Monday morning I will shut those 2 clusters down and begin going over the weekend's data.
So, the benefits of the weekend clusters are simple; use The Island to focus on Boss Events and Tek engrams and Scorched Earth for the Phoenix. If you want to farm on either cluster go for it, but I wouldn't put down any permanent structures.
I'm hoping for a fun and exciting weekend before Hurricane Irma slams into Florida. The server will remain running as long as we have domestic power.

New map comes out and players scatter in different directions; some running to Ragnarok and others fearing we would wipe to host Ragnarok.
I'm here to set everyone's concerns at ease. We are not wiping and we want our players to experience some of the novelties of Ragnarok.
With that said; your admin team will be releasing random-leveled spawns of Griffons in the Center cluster and Ice Wyverns and Lava Golems in the SE cluster (we're hoping the Ice Wyverns will lay eggs on SE).
This will give everyone a taste of the Ragnarok specific dinos and relieve some concerns about wiping.
The admin team is going over the future direction of the server and it looks like Ragnarok will be our next map but clustered with what? Share your thoughts here.
I tried to buy another server to add to our cluster but the hosting company we use has a 2 server cluster limit. So; Ragnarok map will be next but not now and will give more time for the Ragnarok map to become more polished.
