What should I do if a scammer contacts me?
Well if a scammer contacts you please say "I am part of the Anti-Scammer's Team group and your time will be wasted" It is important to say this to make sure that all scammers know this group and will hopefully leave you alone
How do I know if the person I'm trading is scamming me or not?
To make sure the other person isn't scamming you, USE COMMON SENSE. Your most likely not lucky and trust no one, remember this is the internet where anyone can post racist comments and not have real world repercussions for their actions. Here are some common scams to watch out for "Fake OPSkins bot" "Impersonaters" "Item verification" "Fake gambling and trading sites" "Middleman Scams" "Using Paypal to cash out" and more. I've been scammed! What can I do?
Unfortunely Valve doesn't give a damn what happens to your skins, by accepting a trade request and pressing this is a "gift" you basically sent them free money. The only thing you can do now is research how not to get scammed and USE COMMON SENSE.
