acdrift.net online drifting community

We are a community of online sim racers who enjoy using our favourite sims for drifting. AC Drift is focused on the race simulator software Assetto Corsa, available on STEAM as an early access release. We participate for enjoyment, friendly rivalry and occasionaly for competition.

Our main goal is to foster a spirit of community and bring people together online to share a common pastime. As a side project, we want to make a series of short (and not so short) videos which showcase drifting in Assetto Corsa. We welcome feedback and participation in this project by our members.

Assetto Corsa is a mod-friendly enterprise and we expect some great additions suitable for drifting - both cars and tracks. Thanks for being a part of our community. Please post information to help us determine which are the best modded tracks and cars, so that we may prepare some themed packs (track, cars, skins) for our members and for use on our own servers.

We are planning some drift events for our members. If you are hosting your own drift event we are happy to support you the best we can. Our main goal is a thriving and mature-minded Assetto Corsa drift community.

Due to Assetto Corsa being released via the Steam platform, many gamers who have never before experienced a race sim are likely to become involved in our community. They may be used to drifting in games like Grid or Need For Speed. Please be kind to them, be patient and help them to embrace sim drifting so that this genre can grow and endure.

What happed to this group and the server? I love drifting in Ac its the best fun but in terms of online in Australia server are few and far between

Skin errors? Getting skin errors on game launch with our Venom skins? The skins still work correctly but the error is annoying. Our archives have been updated to rectify this issue.

You can download the updated cars - or if you prefer you can edit the .json file found in each skin folder using a text editor like Windows notepad.
If the "number" field is empty simply type a one or two digit number in the space provided and save the file.
