Small update that adds the ability to change viewdistance and grass/terrain detail through the ace interaction menu without the addition of IVD. Please uninstall IVD after applying this update if you had it enabled.

For new installs you can download the vast majority of the modpack through Google Drive here to get around addonsync's slow download speeds: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VIfWtDRqMEiPKxi0iGjOXbcTAyUq1jtc/view and then extract to your Operation Arrowhead directory. Addonsync should scan your extracted files and only download the updates on top of them.

The ArmA devs have been working on a new update to ArmA 2 OA which includes a number of performance optimizations and crash fixes. Because of these performance increases, in my case an average of 12 fps from ~130 to ~142 I have updated the server to this binary update, meaning that if you want to play on the server you must update to this patch.

To update you need to download this file and extract all contents to your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder and overwrite all conflicting files. You can revert back to 1.63 by validating your files in Steam. Eventually this update will be pushed to Steam, but in the meantime we must update via this method.

First i would like to welcome all of our members. This is a new community, and with your support, we hope to bring fun, realistic ACE/ACRE gameplay back to ArmA II.

We are going to hold Operations every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. These will usually be custom scripted missions, though we might play MSO as well. We ask that members of this community make an effort to attend at least one of these operations every week.

Additionally, the server is always up, and we play almost daily. If you feel like playing, just join the Teamspeak and ask if anyone is up for some ArmA. It's also much easier to throw together a group to play when people are on the Teamspeak, so consider sticking around, even if your just sitting in the AFK channel. (Please note, the Teamspeak is still a work in progress and quite barebones at the moment)

If you don't have your mods set up yet, I recommend that you do so as soon as possible. There is a pinned post with everything you need to know about the mods in discussions. Once you get them installed, make sure you join the server to make sure your ACRE is working correctly - If it isn't, you will be asked to leave the server until you resolve the issue. We are willing to help you, just don't wait until the last few minutes before an operation to ask for assistance. It's best to ask for help at least several hours before an operation.

We offer a basic training course that covers ACE basics, Weapons, ACRE Radios, Medical, and basic tactics, and takes about one hour. New players should contact StateBDog (AKA K.State) if they need to take the course. Members who clearly need to take the course but refuse to do so may be barred from attending operations.
