Easily the shittiest movie of 2010
Angelina Jolie is a CIA agent accused of being a Russian sleeper agent, guess what ? She is. She isn't out to clear her name, but to save her husband, that later gets shot by the other Russian sleeper agents, just to piss off Salt.
The Russian sleeper cells' mission is to kill the Russian president and frame the CIA, then somehow take control of the entire U.S. Nuke stockpile, and blow up the Middle East. Guess what. They succeed, well almost.
Salt turns out to be a double triple super secret sleeper agent that changes her mind about Nuking the Middle East which she was trained to do since she was a todler by nice Russian spies.
She ends up killing her boss at the CIA ( Liev Schreiber ) that turns out to also be a Russian sleeper agent, whom is tasked with killing the President of the United States (but doesnt), and launching all the Nukes on Saudi Arabia and Iran (fails at 99% of confirmed Nuke launch).
After Salt stops the Middle East from becoming a hot hole in the ground, she some how convinces the guy trying to bring her in to let her jump out of a helicopter into the Potomac, foreshadowing an even shittier sequel

this movie was just a non stop bullshit artist saying shit like " And then we have her jump from the roof of a moving semi to the roof of a tanker truck in a different lane during rush hour" Even more maddening is that Salt saves the world with a bullet wound in her hip, which doesnt stop her from doing martial arts, and somehow magically mends her wound with a stolen maxi pad, i shit you not.
