Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots....With guns? Hell yes!

Upcoming game Warmachine: Tactics. Using the newly-popular mode of turn based tactical strategy a la X-COM:EU combined with on the rise niche of Steampunk (Dishonored style) this game should be onto a winner here surely?

As of this moment it's still in the greenlighting phase on steam, so vote and help get this game launched. Link on this page.

PCGamer interviewed the creator of Warmachine and apparently the game will be in our hands about a year from now.

For the price of £49.99 or your regional equivalent you can purchase access to the game. It is still in beta and so obviously bugs will be present and some content unfinished but if you just can't wait, go for it :)

EDIT: Price has been reduced to £37.96 (or regional equivalent). Maybe even the devs thought that £50 for an early access was a bit insane :P

If anyone is still following this group... someone made another group "warmachine warmasters" that will start setting up games..

Please check (and vote if you like it) this game : Laith Tactics, same spirit as fire emblem + different endings and choices (and not that far from the suikoden (2) spirit either ...)

Played the singleplayer a few times, and half of a multiplayer (my opponent left after three roaunds) It's like playing Warmachine on the table. I think they could streamline some of the mechanics a little for the computer... allow unit movement rather than moving each individual piece. On the other hand, if the goal is to allow Warmachine to be played virtually, then they've succeeded admirably.
