"As the center of the Moebian Domain, Atoma Prime is of great importance to the regional Imperial presence. However, the Moebian Domain has been beset by various Chaos and Xenos threats, locally called the "Darktide", from the Galactic Fringe. To counter these attacks, Atoma Prime raised many regiments over the decades which held the Chaos forces at bay, keeping Atoma Prime safe.

Eventually, however, the forces of Chaos inflitrated Atoma Prime. The planet's Hive Tertium was infested by the Admonition Chaos Cult and the Moebian Sixth Regiment turned traitor to support the cult. An Inquisitor Lord subsequently sent some of his retinue to deal with the Cult."
