Hey guys! The spring/winter season is almost upon us! High School Starleague signup is now open for the following games:

- League of Legends
- Dota 2
- Hearthstone
- Osu!

I'll have a registration form available over the next couple days.

For those who don't know how this works: the HSL is the largest high school level tournament in North America. Players sign up as teams or solo (depending on the game) through their school. They play a match every weekend for a predetermined amount of weeks in a Swiss Style bracket. Top places in each group then get placed into the playoffs. There are prizes on the line and typically they are quite good as the HSL has some large sponsors including Riot Games.

NOTE: There is no limits to the amount of teams we register so I recommend everyone to join!

Also, we'll be at open house on Tuesday in the libaray. ALSO, we will NOT be in the library after school on Tuesday. We will be setting up a couple Smash setups and having that running during the tours.

We are looking for people to volunteer and/or bring setups for either Sm4sh or Smash Melee. I think dinner is provided and you get some hours for service hours.

Also, I know this is a bit late but Registration for the Vancouver School Board eSports: League of Legends ends on Monday. This is a much more limited event and games are twice a week: Wednesday and Sunday. A major difference between the HSL and VSBE is that there is an entry fee of $30 per team. I can't guarantee it but I would try to get the school to pay for it but we'll only see if we actually get funding.

So yeah, sign up is linked below if you want to join. I recommend that the teams who have won our inhouse tournaments join this tournament.

We'll be in the library tomorrow afterschool! BYOC for Smash! We will also be discussing the upcoming Super Smash Bros tournament with other schools hosts at VC. Also, BRING IN YOUR CLOTHING ORDERS ASAP.
