USRF: FRAG THE PLANET

[USRF] TFC clan Established in 1997 and still alive and kicking in the Half Life Universe. Although some members are getting way to old... and still waiting for HL3.

History: From 1998 till 2004 USRF Gameservers where serving the TFC, CS (and upcomming HL Multiplayer games) community with public servers and free server support for Gameleagues from England, Belgium and other International leagues. For example UKTFCL, NTFCL, Scirmis, BETFCL, Clanbase and WTFCL. Also as Clan, [USRF] where anticipating in these leagues also doing not so bad in the scores.

But USRF is way longer online then 1997. You see, USRF is a short for USRForce and that is a short for US-Robotics Force established in 1987 when members connected to each other with 14k4/28k8 us-robotics sportster modems and regulary organised meetings (lan parties) from 1995 till 2004. Mostly playing Command & conquer in 1995 over coax lan and later in 1996 playing online Quake matches.

USRF has organised two mayor Lanparty's (Area41 I and Area42 II) in the Netherlands where 70 to 100 people where having a enjoy-full very sleepless weekend in 2002 and 2003.

So you can see USRF has a very long history in gaming. And we are very proud that we are still living it after all those years!

It has been a long time ago since our last update. But as you can see USRF is still alive today. Who would have thought that a group of friends, both IRL and online, chill with each other for that long.

17 damn years since Halve Life came out and still no HL3. (yes we still hope)

Hi there! The last anouncement was some time ago. Ok a very long time ago, but we are still alive and playing around. One or two servers are also available but I do not know the IP addresses. Thats not helpful, I know. But still, it is something i had to share with you.

I'm planning to get around L4D some of these days if the downloading is not taking for ages. Yeah I know L4D is out for a while now. But being bussy for the last year so I did not have time to enjoy gaming at all.
