Hey eveyone,
This group, as the official group for the UNCC Dota 2 division in the eSports club, serves as a common place for players to meetup, play games, talk about Dota 2, and have a good time. We won't be doing anything official is this group (as far as CSL and other team orginizations go) and everything here is all about lighthearted play. That being said, you might see the occasional anncouncement or discussion regarding recuirment but that is about it! So pretty much relax, have fun, and play some Dota 2 you have come to the right place! Thank you all very much,

Hey guys, so as you know we do have a CSL team. Here's the thing though, due to some circumstances I am in I am no longer able to be on the team. We are currently looking for one more player to join the squad before the fall season of CSL starts. The International Viewing Party

Hey everyone! This the viewing party to watch the Dota 2 world championships called "The International." This is taking place on the day of the grand finals. The first match of the day will begin around 1:00 PM but broadcasting begins around 12:00. Feel free to stop in anytime or stay for the whole thing! This a great opportunity to meet new people, get excited about Dota 2, and cheer on the best teams in the world fight for a nearly $20,000,000 prize pool! So stop on by if you are a Dota expert or know nothing about the game! This can be a great learning experience for people that want to learn more about the game/get involved and will be a blast for everyone!

Where: UNCC Woodward Hall, Room 106
When: Saturday, August 13th at 12:00 PM
Why? Because video games!

This event is free of course but if you want to bring around $5 for ordering pizza that would be great (normally we would supply all food and drinks for our events but it is too early in the year for us to ask for event grants so we will have to make due)!

Hey, just wondering if this was still a thing. I'm a sophomore in MEGR and haven't really ran into anyone here who played DOTA, so I googled it and this popped up.
