As you can see, I am a big fan of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. One of the most renouned presidents to ever come to office. When he was elected into office, he had been struggling with a deadly diease known as polio. This disease crippled him from the waist down. When he was elected, many citizens thought of him as a pushover. He took many slanted approachs to many big economic issues. One of the main reason people didnt like him was because the very first law he made was to make beer legal, when he couldve been thinking about more important things. Many of u r probably saying "what can be more important than beer." But during most of his presidency the great depression was roaming, and world war 2 was brutely bombarding US and British troops. During his 14yr presidency, more than anyother pres., he battled everyone of german and japanese troops. ( do not take this offensivly if ur japanese or german. THIS IS A DIFFERENT TIME PERIOD, im talking about the 1930's when u were enemys)
