Spreading the word of GOD. And the Salvation of Christ. Who is GOD?

There is one true and living God. God is three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons and each is God. Yes, they are not three gods, but one God in three Persons, usually called the Trinity. The Bible clearly teaches that God is three Persons, so we believe it, even though we can't completely understand it.

The Bible speaks about all three members of the Trinity from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation. Jesus clearly taught about all three in John 15 and 16.

Our minds can't completely understand how one God can be three Persons, because the Trinity has unity that is much greater than any unity people can have. Although God is three Persons, He is one, in perfect unity of purpose and love. If we study what the Bible teaches about each member of the Trinity, it will help us understand this truth more clearly.

God the Father is our Creator. He is the maker of the universe and the giver of all life. God the Son (Jesus Christ) is our Savior. He became a man to show the world what God is like. He paid the penalty for our sin and has provided everlasting life to anyone who will receive Him (Baptism). God the Holy Spirit is our Helper. He is always with us because He is in each person who has received Jesus Christ as Savior. He helps us receive God's forgiveness and obey Him in our daily lives.

Though God the Father is our Creator, the Bible teaches that Jesus and the Holy Spirit also had a part in creation. Jesus, God's Son, is our Savior, but the Father and the Holy Spirit also are involved in the work of salvation.

My goal is, and always will be for this group, to serve God and His people by doing His will to the best of our ability. We wish to share, and sometimes produce thought-provoking, excellent quality, scripturally sound, Bible study material through video, and written announcments and discussions. My officers and I have a genuine desire to glorify the Father, His beloved Son, His word and His blood-bought church and not to glorify ourselves or any other men!

Young Americans view of the Bible will shock you

In the largest study ever undertaken by the Barna Group on a single generation’s take on the Bible, it found many trends in Millennials (Americans ages 18 to 29) that some might find disturbing.

Partnering with the American Bible Society (ABS) and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) in the study, Barna discovered many intriguing facts about young Americans’ perceptions, practices and beliefs about the Bible and those who read and live by its teachings.

-According to the massive study, nearly half (45 percent) of non-Christians argue that the Bible is just an instructional book of stories and advice compiled by men, while just 27 percent of this group say it is the inspired or actual Word of God.-

- “About one in five say the Bible is ‘an outdated book with no relevance for today’ (19 percent) and more than one-quarter go so far as to say the Bible is ‘a dangerous book of religious dogma used for centuries to oppress people’ (27 percent).”-

I believe God has given no indicaters to show the end is near, look above at Matthew 24:36 'of that day and hour no one knows', and we have people believing they can figure it out. I emplore us as Christians to just believe the Bible. Because when in human history have there not been famine, wars, sickness, and earthquakes? A quick Google search will show that people have been predicting the end from what seems like the beginning of time; however, none have ever and will never get the date right as it is an impossibility.

I'd recommend a video titled 'No One Left Behind'. though the basis of the video is the rapture, he does address the notion of " The end of time ", or the common thought of" Living in the end days ". Before I continue I would like also state some scripture from our Bible:

“ But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

If the angels and even Jesus the Christ himself could not tell what time the coming will take place how could we as mere sinful mortals POSSIBLY know?

People will always say jesus is near and so is the end, and how they will often site wars, rumors, famine, and earthquakes as evidence. Or possibly even site Matthew 24:6,7.
