Themed Teamplay for Dota 2

Public group for folks interested in Themed Teamplay for Dota 2. Ideas for themes include characters that all use ice, centaurs, epic beards, empowered women, or arthropod like creatures. Theme games can also incorporate elements of Dota hero lore, references to pop culture, unusual item builds or attack strategies. We also host games using custom lobby options (Reverse Captains mode; same hero all mid) or mods (Legends of Dota).

The point of this group is to have fun and to keep things lighthearted. Please be tolerant of a wide range of skill levels, avoid raging or trashtalking others, and practice good sportsmanship. Invite ladies and gents who are awesome to be around and that promote communication and positive teamplay.

All members of the Steam group can schedule events. Please post ideas, be creative, experiment with new characters or gameplay styles.

Having a 'theme' is really just an excuse to push your comfort levels, facilitate dialog between players, and to offer a novel perspective on gameplay mechanics via unusual combinations of heroes. View this as an opportunity to learn something new with each unique game experience.
