The Ideals of the Commonwealth

"We, the free men of the Commonwealth, do here by proclaim our freedom, In order to create prosperity, and protect the working men of these lands."

The Commonwealth is founded on the ancient prinicples of nordic democracy by council. No man shall ever have absolute power, nor shall no man never have any power.


Please always try and roleplay atleast a little bit in game, follow orders and don't get us a bad name.

Laws Pertaining to the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth

The army shall remain in order, and no soldier is allowed to take action without provactation or direct orders from a commanding officer

The army shall recieve pay as the commanding officer sees fit

The army shall never kill a citizen of the commonwealth unless attacked

The army shall always abide by orders given by a commanding officer

The army shall never commit crimes of any kind.

Laws pertaining to taxing policy

No tax imposed on those free citizens of the Commonwealth shall ever exceed 300 denars

Tax imposed on protectorates shall never exceed 500 per a person, and the tax shall be directed only to the lord of said protectorate.

If taxation is not able to be paid, then indentured servitude of the amount equal or greater to the taxed amount shall be imposed on the citizen failing to pay the tax.

Laws pertaining to rights of citizens

All citizens are to always have access to commonwealth shelter

All citizens are allowed the rights to protest, and petition

All citizens are allowed free access to commonwealth fields, under supervision of the overseeing Baron

All citizens are allowed the right to pick up arms to defend themselves, or the country

All citizens are allowed audience with local authority, or royalty

Laws pertaining to criminal justice and crimes against the Commonwealth

Murder is seen as a crime and is punishable by execution

Theft of any kind is seen as a crime and is punishable by forced reimburment or indentured servitude equal or greater than the cost of the theft

Treason is seen as a crime of the highest order, and is punishiable by torture, and then death

Assualt is seen as a crime and is punishable by a fine, or indentured servitude

To violate or evade tax is seen as a crime and is punishable death

To violate indentured servitude sentenced by a council of peers will result in execution
