Due to the recent influx of hacking, we would like to remind you of a few security measures you can take to protect yourself.
If you have a smart phone, you can setup the mobile authenticator app (details on the Guild Wars 2 site, Under my account -> Security).
Otherwise, there's the email verification. If it's not setup for your account, you should be able to find it under Security as well. Remember, the way this works, if you or someone else tries to log on to your account on a network, you will receive an email. You have the option to save that network for future log ins, for example your home network. The key to this system is making sure that your Guild Wars 2 account password is different from your email's password.
We want above all for our members to be safe and happy. So please take the steps necessary to protect yourself.
