Weekly TF2 item Lotteries by the community for the community

TFLotto was created by a group members of the Heavy Trading Association. 7 -HTA- members have been running private lottos with traders and friends in the community for a few months now and everyone has really enjoyed it. -HTA- decided this kind of event was something they looked forward to all week and could only get bigger and better if they got the whole TF2 community involved.

TFLotto is their creation to make this happen and has been seeded to begin with a pair of Buds. The members came together and each gave a little to get this item for the first lotto event, hopefully the lotto will show enough interest to fund future lottos of at least a buds a week, but the hope is it will grow and we can have more and more exciting weekly lotteries.

TFLotto is a non-profit creation designed just to create one night of the week where everyone can come together and see who goes from rags to riches overnight, all earning will be put into the following weeks lottery, in the hope that as time goes on and the lottos get bigger and bigger the community could see something really amazing like some of the nicer unusuals.

We had to adapt a new system taking these Lottos public because of the sheer quantity of people. Heres how it will work, when you pay your entry fee you will be given a unique pin number, you must save this number because it will be requested of you in the event that you win. Every entry will be listed in a numbered spreadsheet and a random number will be generated selecting the winner. The winner will have 72 hours to contact our community manager and give the required pin number to claim their prize, unclaimed prizes will have a secondary drawing immediately after the 72 hours has expired. In general multiple entries will be accepted unless it is a free lotto in which case only a single entry will be allowed. Lotto winners will be announced here, good luck to all participants!
