It's been quite the three-year ride for me and for the community overall. I've seen laughing joy when someone sharked a 56 bud unusual, I've been a part of the "got earbuds for free" club and I've seen some people get scammed out of their winnings. I don't really know where I'm going with this but I just wanted to say I haven't been working on endgame for a long time now, partly due to college and partly due to laziness but that's how it is.

So I'm announcing something important.

Endgame.tf is now free.
Free as in libre, not as in "free meal" but as in "GNU/Linux" free.

The V4 codebase, all 8000 lines of it is now on GitHub. Yes, you can now have your own endgame.tf website. Yes, you can now fork, pull and download endgame, no I won't help you set it up. You can also find bugs and fix them yourself, I'll be maintaining the repository and pushing its changes to endgame.tf

Donations for the site are still welcome and will result in a donator rank but now the site itself is open-source and will be shutting down in early April, no, it's not a joke.

It will take time for you to set this up, it will be hard but you can do it if you apply yourself.

Because the setting is now "friends only" I can maybe make a new friend list scanner that uses your computer to download backpacks.

ON the 8th of october, I wil be changing the Domain Name Service records for the server.
In short, Endgame.tf will no longer go to the same server, it will go to a new, cheaper, faster server.

Nothing else will be changed.

This operation will likely last about 1-4 hours and during that time logins and links on the server may malfunction.
Additionally, your computer will remember which server used to be endgame.tf and therefore may end up sending you off wherever it feels like it. If this happens, it'll fixe itself within a day or so.

So I've got a lot of stuff to do still, testing everything that donators and normal users can and can't do as well as a lot of server configuration stuff.
I'm hoping to have the v4 scanner open for regular users on monday.

The update includes:

1. Faster scanning.
   
2. CSGO scanner.
   
3. Broken DOTA 2 scanner that doesn't sort items.
   
4. Better prices.
   
5. Entirely overhauled grid-based UI.
   
6. Improved security.
   
7. More-or-less live CSGO pricelist.
   
8. Improved preferences including preferences for the UI.
   
9. New banners.
   
10. Did not update localization files.
