Please note that games will be "Recommended" or "Not Recommended" depending on the genre. It is unrealistic to expect full touch controls for a modern FPS, whereas a 2D indie puzzle game SHOULD have touch controls. Some games are in between these, and each will be rated accordingly. Whether a game with full touch support is practical without a keyboard/mouse is up to you. This is also not a reflection on the gameplay/story/whatever, so do not take the recommendation or lack thereof as a sign that the game is "good" or "bad".

All testing will be performed on a Surface Book (i5, 256 GB, 8 GB, dGPU; though the dGPU will only affect framerate and not touch support), for reference.

Many games that function solely with mouse input work with the surface pen as it has a button to enable a right click. Also, pen gestures, "flicks", can be used to add button functionalities such as Escape (for pause menus) where necessary. Touch input is more hit-and-miss, and depends on the game. Generally, games without native touch support may work using a double-tap: the first tap places the cursor over the on-screen button and the second tap acts as the "click". A long press often suffices as a right click, but obviously this doesn't work well for fast games and is more suited for turn-based games.
