This is the first time I've watched a game's credits so often.
Thank you, JAW, It is my honor of helping you.
Deal with it.
I was as shocked as you were.
During the closed beta that would only happen if i had AA turned on, but since i don't have AA turned on i have no idea what could be causing it.
And yes, I didn't receive new email notice, too.
Has the beta ended?
If not then why have I not received the new password? I presume the old one expired and that's why the game reverted to the original though I wish it would have given me the opportunity to obtain the new key first and remained in unplayable HD state rather than wasting part of my monthly usage cap downloading the old data then having to download the new data again.
Also remember that this is still a 2005 engine created to be Xbox-exclusive. It is fundamentally and irrevocably going to be less optimized for PC than modern PC games.

I am using a GTX 550 TI
Great game and the HD makeover looks fab but still a little buggy unfortunately.
Also, I'm playing with the wired Xbox 360 controller and have that option selected in the launcher options but I cannot change the ammo in the game as the D-pad directions are not recognised at all. I have to use the cursor keys on the keyboard to switch ammo which obviously isn't ideal.
Full screen wont work.
- Fixed joining password protected content betas in some cases
Maybe that's the reason.

No, there's no change on my PC.
Maybe you just quit 'steam' beta project or joined it. That will push Stranger's Wrath HD beta back to original game. I don't know why, but It happened to me once when I quit steam beta.
