trading for real money. they ask if you have a friend you trust to hold the weapon during the real money trade (middle man). They invite you and your friend to a group chat then they make a mirror account of your friend (same pic and username) then the mirror account invites you to a trade, you trade your knife to what you think is your friends then rip skins.
2. Phishing links.
Have fake photos/screenshots of your weapon on loounge to make it seem like it is in good condition e.g. show screenshot of 90% blue case hardened when the one in their inv is just a regular. (so you overpay looking for a weapon that is in great condition then you get a normal market price one) This one can be done in different ways e.g. have a knife and have real screenshot of your backside and fake of playside so when they inspect in your inv they see backside and assume your knife has the really nice looking playside.
I havent seen this one but I think if you give money as a gift on paypal you can refund it so what happens is they say they can go first then they give you money via paypal then you trade over knife or expensive item then they just refund their gift and you are left with nothing
They send you an offer e.g. has $5 weapon on their side then on your side there is a bucnh of your ♥♥♥♥ skins or cases but they have a knife slipped in their too so you accept without noticing that you have it in the trade.
