Schedule Update and More

Hi everyone! So I am writing this to keep my readers updated, but there won't be a review this week. The reason is that I had a tooth extraction earlier this week, and thus haven't had the time or strength to prepare a review for the week. That being said, I am focusing on TRIANGLE STRATEGY now, and I feel confident it will be done by the weekend of next week.

Reviews were originally to be posted every Friday. Still, I decided to move the day to weekends, meaning reviews will be posted either Saturdays or Sundays (like the Chrono Ark review). The reason is that I got a job and I will be working soon (which is great because money and I can cover way more titles! Perhaps even start accepting specific requests!) but it leaves me with less time and I have to work from M-F until 10 pm...

With all of that being said, look forward to better reviews. The omission of this week is because of the tooth issue but also because even though I could write something I fear it would rushed and not in line with my promise of even improving the writing. Happy weekend and see you next week!~

Goal Attained, and the Future of StarsDeck.

Nobody reads group announcements or the sort but I might as well write this down: StarsDeck is a curator run entirely by me, Nirhildija, and the goal was to attain 2000 followers. The reason for that specific number was that the developer wouldn't send keys to me until that number was met, thus severely limiting my scope in what games I could review. After one year of writing (and some breaks~) the goal has been achieved, and I was able to get 2000 followers while being a one-person team.

I feel successful, and satiated, but also exhausted haha! I see fellow curators have 2000 ish followers and have teams of 20 writers, 10 editors, 3 PR managers, etc and so being by myself I do feel accomplished. This has been a long journey, and I am thankful to everyone who supported me in every way. A special thanks to those who gifted me games so I could cover them, and to the developers I bonded with!

As for the future, I believe I need to hit the brakes, slow down, and enjoy gaming again. Too much of my time has been taking notes and writing like a maniac. With that being said, the plan is to do only one review per week, increase the quality of the writing, and enjoy games! I don't think StarsDeck will ever reach something like 200,000 followers, and since I am getting a job soon and moving to other things, the growth will probably be slower, but who knows how the future will play!~

And so, thanks to everyone for following this journey with me. I hope I can write from time to time, and that we can all continue to love playing games. Cheers!~
