Anyone want interested in a Deep Rock Galactic or Risk of Rain 2 gaming session? It would be a good chance to have some (digital?) brewski's, catchup, and relex. Both games are up to 4 player co-op.

If there is sufficient interest I will look to propose some formal days whilst the rest can be left up to everyone else. Feel free to propose other games or times.

It is reguarlly me and 1 full time staff member of the school there as mentors... with 5-15 kids, usually towards the larger side, any assistance for even a part of a day would be greatly appreciated... assistance would be greatly appreciated, we simply need bodies, albeit assistance from technical (mechnical/electrical/java-programming) to faciliation/organizational skills would be helpful too.

The Humble Bundle is a group that bundles various items in collaberation with/from various groups in order to generate donated funds for a slew of causes, and you get to decide who gets what with easily editable sliders. An overall great cause, and you get a bit of entertainment out of it, even if one chooses to donate only a dollar, this is a great cause to support.

Engineering Drawing is being setup (at Schroeder at least) to include 3DS Max (Design) into the curriculumn. In other words Engineering Drawing will become the ultimate SparX companion class. For Engineering Drawing will entail Inventor the first half of the year and 3DS Max (Design) the second half of the year. What this means is Freshmen would be Inventor ready for the first season and 3DS Max ready the second season (the next year). Sadly due to this only current Sophmores and below will have any animations benifit out of taking the class next year, and then being able to apply that knowledge the successive year.

Anyone interested in learning 3DS Max (design), or any CAD program, first go through all the educational videos Autodesk provides, then check out Digital Tutors (or the far less formmated youtube). Digital Tutors has everything laid out nicely and at times may offer free all-access passes to all their content... Maybe if Animations gets enough members SparX would fund an account to them.

It has come to my attention in trying to keep/make the group active that many members are in the DOTA2 beta thus why I am annoucing DOTA2 game nights on Fridays from lets say 8pm to 10pm or 2 games time. Comment on the time on when you want to play DOTA2 as a group if this time is not prime.
