New Method:

A scammer will add you, and message you just normal stuff like how are you and what not. They will go on to say they have a market ban and cannot purchase any items. The person will ask if you could buy them a game or skins. He/she will than ask if you have something you could give them to hold while you buy them the games/skins. They won't give you a steam code at all, leaving you in the hole.

New Method Scammers are Attempting

Websites to Sell Skins on:

Scammers are now attempting a new way to scam. They tell you they want to buy your skin(s) on, let's say, Opskins. The scammer asks you to tell them when you are depositing onto the site. This scammer has another account named "Opskins Bot #1" (or a different number), ready to send you a trade offer, acting like the real bot. Little did you know, you just sent your skins to a scammer. Please understand this can be done with other "cash-out" websites.

Gambling Sites:

Like above, scammers are faking to be bots. But these scammers often offer "help" to improve your profit on gambling sites. They often know and prove a pattern on the sites coinflips or roulette. The scammer tell you that they will let you know what to deposit and when to deposit it. This person has another account named,"♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bot #1" (just an example), and they will try the same scam above. When they tell you to send the offer, they will send one to you for the same items on their fake bot account.
