Warning you about games containing AI slop

This group is for the curator page that points out any games in the steam store that uses AI generated content in their store pages or in their games. This is primarily found in artwork on the storepage or in the game


It's basically any kind of creative work that is created using a generative AI rather than a person own creativity and skill

Slop is a 21st-century term used to refer to low-quality media—including writing and images—made using generative artificial intelligence technology. The word has a derogatory connotation akin to "spam".
It has been variously defined as "digital clutter", "filler content produced by AI tools that prioritize speed and quantity over substance and quality", and "shoddy or unwanted AI content in social media, art, books and, increasingly, in search results".


This group is simply going to point out games and developers who use AI slop in their games. It's not going to lecture you about how using AI is "harming artists" or anything like that, form your own opinions.
However if you need a reason, simply put; AI is ugly, lazy and uninspired. If a developer uses AI it just goes to show that they do not care about putting any proper effort or investment into their game. They simply want to create a lazy product that they can sell you for easy profit.
