Skullgirls SEA

This group was created in order to cater for the Skullgirls players at South East Asia. The purpose of the group is to enable players to mingle with fellow South East Asian players as well as making matchmaking easier. Hopefully, through this, the community of Fighting Gamers, especially Skullgirls players, would expand and get the game more popular here.

Skullgirls SEA Mini Tournament #1 Closing

Well, what can I say. All good things have to come to an end. The Skullgirls SEA Mini Tournament #1 has reached its conclusion and will everybody help me congratulate these people,

Computer (Easy) for getting Third Place!
Prinny_Bomb for getting Second Place!

And our reigning champion, Beau with his Valentine/Felia team which reigns supreme on this group!

Also, I'd like to hear feedback regarding how it went. I'd only express a little disappointment on the first week as most participants did have troubles setting their matches. Other than that, the tournament went on smoothly. Still, I'd like to hear from you on ways on how to improve on many things. From the group to the tournaments.

I'll also be working on holding actual local tournaments but sadly that would only cover the Singapore audience but we do hope you guys can join too, if given the chance.

Skullgirls SEA Mini Tournament #1 Day 1!

Well the day has arrived for the selection of who should rightfully own the Skull Heart. (Just go with me here for a good intro of the tournament opening.)

Anywho, this is the first day of the Skullgirls mini tournament that we're having. Sad to say, my deep apologies for the participants as I will not be able to make it to view and invigilate on your games as I have work today. However, I trust all of you will follow the guidlines and rules that I've posted for the tournament. I'll add on a few more on this announcement as well as on the thread: http://steamproxy.net/groups/SkullgirlsSEA/discussions/10/846961716433258328/ just so the tournament still proceeds well.

First, I entrust all participants of their matches for today as I'll be away. You guys will have to add your opponent then PM them and make a private room for the both of you to have your matches. Basically, settle what exact time you guys are going to actually play. The one I posted on the thread is just a guidline of when it's most suitable for all of you to play. DO POST ON THE THREAD THE SCORE OF THE MATCHES

Second, I don't expect anyone would be a sore loser if they lose as you're given another chance on the second block for the first round.

Third, no avoiding of matches. Do try to play against your opponent as soon as possible. If ever a player avoids a match, they would be disqualified off the tournament unless they provide a good reason for it.

Forth, No sparring before the matches. I don't want you to figure out your opponents before the the actual match starts. This gives everyone a fair start as they would probably know nothing about their opponents until after the first round or so.

Lastly, matches are still set to best of 2 matches/rounds. Basically, you need to win 2 sets of matches if it's a 1v1 but you only need to win 2 matches if it's a team battle or team vs solo.

I hope this announcement is clear to all participants and Good luck and have fun.

On a side note, I'm thinking of ideas on how to improve the group and make the members more active. It would be great if you provide comments on this announcement so I can try and meet what everybody really needs. Thank you~

Is this group still active? been looking to play some people online and my current net plan seems to be the least laggy in the SEA region. Add me if ya want, I'll be playing this game more often.
