It seems that this is the season for prevolent scams to get at all your delicious hats. We at Mann Co. would like to speak on behalf of Valve that they will never address people in IM about promotions, nor will they ask you for your password. Also be aware as to what links you click! Anything that isn't http://steampowered.com or http://steamproxy.net are probably ways to get into your account without you noticing. If you see anyone committing such horrible crimes, feel free to beat them up like the hippies they are, and of course report them to proper authorities afterwards.
