In recent years, the descendants of Dinga chose to show the face of Save Anubis in public once again to voice their disapproval of removing Anubis as a map from CSGO. Many people were killed in the global violent aftermath of this, and Barack Obama himself had to mediate and settle the enraged Save Anubis clan. Today, centuries later, the team has become less violent and instead focuses on winning video games. They do win at video games, on occasion.

In the summer of 2022, the CEO of Counter Strike arrived personally at the Save Anubis Grindr Compound®, fell to his knees, started crying, and begged to be forgiven for removing Anubis from the game. He asked what he should do to earn forgiveness, and the high council of Save Anubis simply asked him to put Anubis back into the game. He obliged, and has since been nominated for a nobel peace prize. Save Anubis recognizes and appreciates the strength it took for the CEO of Counter Strike to admit his faults, and do all that was needed to repay his debts.
