Sanguine Nation is an MGC, we have members in games such as FFX|V, LoL, Star Citizen, and coming soon to ESO and Wildstar.

The history of this illustrious community is one founded on the most basic of principles and values. In 2004, a few core people got together and created the first guild we would all know and come to love as kindred, The Headhunters. This guild was created for the sole purpose of being a pre-launch community for the game Age of Conan. For those of you who don’t know, that game was released in 2008 and was unfortunately a smashing failure. For four years we waited, hoped, and were unceremoniously optimistic about the game. Even throughout the beta process, we had high hopes. Sadly, only a few short months after the release of the game we found ourselves worried and wondering what was in the future. The game had little to offer in the end, and was not enough to keep even the most stout of our members from trailing off.

Immediately following that, we began creating chapters, one after another, in new games. Some were already launched while others found us in waiting. We were active in Warhammer Online, SWTOR, and most notably, recently, The Elder Scrolls Online. Although these were not our only iterations, they were our most successful. Throughout we achieved many esteemed accomplishments as a guild.

Our leadership is made up of a core of gamers whose experience in leading guilds and communities is vast, ranging in a combined century of experience. Each officer has his niche, and has dedicated himself or herself to performing in that role to the best of their abilities. The way this works is, within each branch, we have defined leadership and leadership roles. In order to attain such a position, one must find themselves wholly dedicated to that game and to the furtherance of that guild and cause. This gives each community a sense of pride and accomplishment, and a feeling of being unique as a guild. This, combined with the efforts of the Sanguine Nation in offering multiple opportunities for the members (who are not necessarily required to choose one branch over another) gives us a real feeling of gaming.

Let’s be honest. How many of us are able to really sit down and devote ALL of our time to ONE game. I can’t remember the last time I played one game all the way through without touching another. Combine this with the hassle provided in having to search for a new community for each game, and you have yourself one hell of an obstacle to overcome. This is where Sanguine Nation comes into play. We offer a place to call home as a community, with dedicated branches and leadership for multiple games (from MMOs to DOTAs to FPS).
