Hello, STEFTI Family! One week to go before we welcome our students back to STEFTI. We hope everyone is ready and eager to start another school year with us.

Here are some important reminders and announcements to keep in mind:

• OPENING OF CLASSES
August 1, Thursday - Nursery, Kinder, Grades 1-6
August 2, Friday - Grades 7-12

• On opening day, students will come to school in any STEFTI PE uniform or any STEFTI shirt. Those without the PE uniform or STEFTI shirt must wear a PLAIN, WHITE shirt. Students may wear jogging pants or jeans (NO shorts or ripped jeans).

• The Nursery to Grade 10 students are required to come to school in complete, prescribed school uniform by August 6, Tuesday. The Senior High students may wear PLAIN, WHITE SHIRT & JEANS/JOGGING PANTS (NO shorts or ripped jeans) in the meantime, but they are required to come to school in complete, prescribed school uniform by August 8, Thursday. Those who will come to school in civilian clothes beyond those dates will need to secure a Permit Slip from the Guidance Office before they are allowed to join their classes.

• Because of the rise of dengue cases, we strongly recommend that boys wear long pants instead of shorts and girls use knee socks in coming to school. For those who have been asking where they could buy the blue long pants, some parents have informed us that they are available at the stalls in the Shopping Center. Also, let your children use and bring an insect repellant or patch..

• August is Buwan ng Wika. Students, faculty and staff are required to come to school in Filipiniana Attire EVERY MONDAY of the month, except if it falls on a holiday. They will also wear Filipiniana Attire during the Culmination Program of their department:
August 29, Thursday - Grade 4-10
August 30, Friday - Nursery and Kinder/Grade 1-3/Grade 11 and 12

Parents and guardians, please help your children get ready to return to school by letting them sleep and get up on time. It has been quite a long vacation for them! Help set their body clocks to school time in these days leading to the class opening. We hope that the handouts given during the Parents’ Orientation have been helpful, too.
