SA Weekly Stellaris Group

SMUG SLUG SPACE TIME INFO!

Okay spergs, we're a day away from release and we currently have 52 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people in the group. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. So let's be clear about a few things:

A) The devs said they can support at least 32 players, but made no promises for any more than that.

B) I have no idea what I'm doing.

C) Even if this does work out it'll likely be a disaster anyway.

So with that in mind let's go over a few things:

The game will run from 8 PM to 10 PM EST on Monday and then regularly from 10PM to 12AM on Fridays. You are expected to be in the Stellaris Smug Slug Space Time Discord Channel[discord.gg] during gameplay. This will be particularly crucial on Monday. If you can't make these times then please leave the Steam group.

I will open the lobby around 7:30 PM EST, sending out an invite via the Steam group. I have heard a lot of people suggest that the best way to join a game is by befriending the host. I like having friends, so feel free to be mine. At 8PM EST sharp I will begin the game. I have no idea how hot drops/adds work so if you can join in after the game starts then awesome. If not

The game settings will be 1000 starts, four-armed spiral galaxy, 4 fallen empires. ♥♥♥♥♥ now or forever hold your peace. Seriously I have no idea what I'm doing here so if you have a better plan let me know.

Game rules:

1. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥.
2. Games will be played on Friday from 10PM to 12AM EST, with a special May 9th session from 8PM to 10PM. Once we establish a group of regulars we'll see if those hours need to be adjusted
3. We'll have a Stellaris discord channel for text and voice. Please be on it so that if you get disconnected we can accommodate that.
4. I am the GM. If you have a problem, let me know. I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what I can do about it.
5. Swiss Knight will be the backup GM. He seems like a nice guy.
6. Before you invade someone's homeworld or last planet give them a chance to be your vassal. If they refuse, ♥♥♥♥ em.
7. Any agreements you make with other players are your own problem. If someone stabs you in the back, consider it motivation to play a xenophobe next time.
8. No pausing. Normal is already slow enough and it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grand strategy game.
9. This will by all expectations be a complete and total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.

If for some reason I have to cull people due to server instability it will be done in order of people who signed up on the spreadsheet[docs.google.com]. Currently there are 33 people there so if you haven't filled it out already now would be a good time. I apologize in advance if this seems arbitrary or unfair, but I need some method of doing this and the spreadsheet is as efficient as any.
