Welcome to the UTHER group - first established by Breakfast_Jr on 27/06/14. We are a group orientated around the competitive skill level of heavy. Discussions such as tracking tips, positioning and the best times and places to use cooldowns are welcome and actively encouraged.

As a heavy group focused around competitive play, we require certain traits amongst our members - non admins and moderators will need to have a minimum of 800 hours in the class. Ideally, we would not like to accept group requests - however if you truly believe yourself to be worthy of the tag, then users are welcome to submit demos or request a competitive match spec by an admin to assess your skill level.

All members WILL be required to use the tag at all times, anyone found to be discrediting the group by not wearing it will be removed without exception. If you need temporarily stop using the tag for whatever reason, please provide the administrators with at least 24 hours in advance to process and review your request.

Heavy as a class and concept was first introduced back in 1999 with the release of Team Fortress Classic. The idea of a highly deadly, low mobility class caught the eye of many players transitioning from Counter-Stike who wanted to maintain the level of skill that most first person shooters demand. Since then, Heavy has evolved into what it is today, albeit a few changes - a deadly class even deadlier in the hands of a competent player.
