The new game lets us make offical groups so we're reviving this group. We're still getting organized, but when the servers stop dying we should be ready to go.

Summer games were one year ago today. Congrats on getting the wormhole badge Valve had to make halfway through the game because of our autism. If you're seeing this and you don't have the wormhole badge, then I don't know what you're doing in this group you disgusting normie, get out. But really, it was a lot of fun.

Afterword

I would really like to say, first of all, that we could not have done this without the help and coordination of the guys over at Ye Olde Wormhole (YOWH). There was quite a bit of drama for a clicker game inwhich people don't actually click, but I believe we got most of our players to the 100M goal, or at least tried our damned best to do so.

During the first few days we fought teeth and bone, trying to beat the reddit rooms (using wChill's script), with the SteamDB script which we associated with ChauffeR. While we somehow managed to amass enough players to fill the room up, and maintain a large amount of active players at the start, we were plagued with the problem of people going inactive. While we started off strong, even beating reddit rooms at the start, we quickly fell behind.

By the first week we knew that we were definitely not going to go anywhere by our own, and many of the people here have either grown bored of the game or defaulted to reddit's rooms. On day 7, we were to do a combined run with YOWH and ChauffeR's group, Cool Minigame People (CMP). However things fell through between YOWH and CMP[pastebin.com] right before the rooms were to be made, a quick strawpoll was made and our people in the SGChan group chat voted in favour of sucking ChauffeR's petite cock. We told Harmless Orchid about it, he was understanding and I knew we would be working together again, so off with ChauffeR's CMP we went, and more relatively more actives we did attain. The day was just a clusterfuck in general however, when the room ID of 44444 was announced, many people didn't believe that we had the power for such an elegant get and was just confused. Later on a second room was made which overtook the first, finishing day 7 at 1.55M and room 44444 finishing 1.4M. Comparatively, the top reddit room reached 64.9M.

On day 8 we made a choice to join YOWH, we recognized the amount of progress they were making and decided that we would be able to get more of our users up to 100M if we went with them. SMG Invite-Only (SMGWIO), a relatively small group of 300 people, would also end up lending their playerbase towards the day 8 YOWH room, though I really don't know much about it other than it was a bunch of people who broke off from the reddit group. This was the start of something big, at the time of day 8, YOWH had about as much people in their group as SGChan, around 1.7k members, the success of YOWH rooms after day 8 would push the YOWH group to almost 9000 members by the time the game ended, though not over it. The first YOWH room (45955) experienced great success, we burnt through most of our wormholes during a period of 9 hours and were slowing down a lot, it was decided that we would abandon the room to gain BP for the 100M push. The new room was 46550 and it would be the first of our rooms to hit 100M.

Day 9. Harmless Orchid went on holiday and gydot was put in charge of PR, and managed to get CMP back on board. With CMP's help and the publicity that YOWH gained for being the fastest room to hit 100M on day 8, we managed to fill 3 rooms up and get them to 100M, out of a total of 6 rooms to hit 100M that day.

Day 10. Gydot wanted to sleep in early for the new game on day 10, and thus couldn't co-ordinate the rooms like the previous day, responsibility of that was transferred to Chunkr. While day 10 was the most successful day for us yet, with 5 YOWH rooms hitting 100M out of a total of 9 rooms, there was internal conflict around Chunkr which would later cause him to break away from YOWH. Chunkr wasn't on good terms with Skullclown, one of the OPs of the YOWH channel, and when Chunkr told the chat that he would give free games to the devs, it was misunderstood and drama ensued[pastebin.com]. But apparently everything is ok now[pastebin.com]. Day 10 was supposed to be the last day but valve decided it would be epic lulz to make us "play"* their clicker game for one more day, and so day 11 happened.

Day 11. Almost every room was nuked hard[pastebin.com] on day 11, RIP #5 ;_;7. CMP (Chunkr and ChauffeR) left the YOWH coalition, both their names start in C and end with R so they became best gay buddies. CMP got their room 1 to 100M, and YOWH had 4 rooms at 100M, out of a total of 8 rooms that reached 100M on day 11. Also worth mentioning is reddit's room 7, that got so close to 99M but stopped short at 98M ;^(
