Due to some of the technical problems we were having with the old forum software (constant errors received by nginx, resulting in gigabytes of trash errors caused by some of the plugins we used), and not being able to efficiently import php code directly into our forum software without 3rd party software, we decided to rebuild the overall forum using IPS.

IPS offers excellent abilities straight out the box without the need of 3rd party plugins. For example - we can now update Kutmode to use your IPS account which actually enables us to go ahead with "Global Accounts" with all of our services. This means you only need one account for all of our servers you require to log into.

Nope! This also gives us the opportunity to create new features which our servers can use, for example - Achievements you've earned can be displayed onto your profile, along with your level, characters, total money, and more! And this is just scratching the surface of ideas we have planned.

IPS didn't have a porting option, meaning we weren't able to transfer any data we had from our old forum to the new one. Because of that, we've had to re-create all of the categories and guides, and members are required to re-register their accounts.

Currently, we're experiencing with CloudFlare that is failing to resolve any of our DNS requests, resulting in Retr0's website showing as down (it's not...). At this moment, I'm unable to log into CloudFlare's website to try and resolve it, so we're kinda stuck.

This is actually being seen to be happening not only to us, but a few other well known communities that i'm part of - So, this isn't just us experiencing these issues.

All we can really do is sit tight, and we'll give you info over in our #network_news channel on Discord (link on main page). Sorry for the inconvenience guys. We're trying to get to the bottom of this asap.

After 2 days of installing, configuring, debugging issues, and the back to configuring, our main dedicated server is now back online.

As of now, you should not notice any differences other than additional servers being available on Retr0 Space (Rust, Arma, ...).

Apple (one of our former Administrators of Retr0) has been dedicating the past few days creating and configuring what we call: "Retr0 Battlefield". Be the first to dominate the new land of our Rust server by building your giant base with your clan, and conquer your rivals!

More updates will be rolling out in the next few days, along with some unique features being added such as Top Listing, so you can see who's the top killer of the network.

The Arma servers are now available on our network and are awaiting both Apple and Drix's input on the development of those. I've received word that Drix has a pre-made pack for Arma 2 available which we will pull off him when he gets back to Canada.

Sometime next week, you will be able to view all of our servers (online state, online players, connect links, ...) by navigating over to play.retr0.space. Navigating there now will redirect you back to our main network where the website is hosted. We'll let you guys know when we've pushed this feature.

More development has been pushed to the main server for Kutmode including the new cpanel. Later tonight the vehicles option will be completed for the following Vehicles System task tomorrow.

An Alpha testing will be available in about 2 weeks time once we have a somewhat playable and entertaining gameplay. The purpose of the alpha test is to test the current features that we have available and to receive some feedback from our players regarding what could be improved or added. We'll post some more info about this later over at the forum[fourm.retr0.space]
