The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.024 billion Rahistani are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Law & Order, with Administration, Defense, and Spirituality also on the agenda, while Welfare is ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rahigrad. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 35.4%.

The Rahistani economy, worth 104 trillion Pineapples a year, is dominated by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Retail, and Basket Weaving.
