This group is The Police Force for SPQR.

The Misson of the Police is simple, maintain order in The Roman Empire, find Traitors and arrest people who are a threat to the Empire, We are also incharge of preserving peace and crushing small riots.

Prisoners may only be released by order of the Emperor, Emperor Regent, Consuls or by the Supreme Chief of Police

Praefectus Vigilum is the head of the Vigiles which they are incharge of and whos responsibility it is to issue orders to them as well as making sure that those orders are carried out effectively and effiecently.

Sub-Praefectus Vigilum is second in command of the Vigiles and whos duty it is to assist the Praefectus Vigilum in whatever it is they are doing.

Vigiles are the main Police force in The Roman Empire as well as being firefighters. They make up the main body of the Police force and are tasked with carrying out orders relating to the security and safety of the people.

Medicus are doctors and medics that are trained to administer medicine and field care for injuries sustained while maintaining order, controling crime, fighting fires or while on guard duty.

Quaestionarius are interrogators and torturers used for conducting "interviews" with suspects in which they are tasked with gaining information and answers to questions for the good of the Empire.

Chaplains are tasked with keeping moral high and making sure that The Police Force works with upmost spirit and desire.


There are 7 Cohorts of Vigiles

Each Corhort is devided into Centuries which each hold up to 80 men which are each commanded by a Centurion.
