Pudding.... the weapon of ultimate sweetness

It is said that its enchanting deliciousness once brought a country to utter ruin. It has brought much destruction, much fighting, and much sacrifice.... In response to their mistakes humankind prayed to the gods to make sure they would never repeat, and so the great Pudding Deity formed in response to these wishes. Yet still.... deep down those humans felt that even though the pudding brought about all these things that it had still done nothing wrong. That it must still fulfill its mission, its purpose, the very reason behind the creation of this great and terrible weapon of mass deliciousness! This purpose was to bring happiness, and even though there was so much fighting and sacrifice over pudding it never really did anything wrong... right? And so in her great benevolence the great Pudding Deity sought to grant both of these missions, to let the pudding fulfill its mission, yet make sure it never brought about such ruin as it had before.
