I will use it (instead of announcements) for updates - because it allows user notification of updates.

As people have voiced concerns about it - the rules substracting points were removed from the event rules.

Now only creating giveaways and getting entries, adds points.

Hello Everyone,
Some number about the game:
* 31 people signed up for the game,
* 26 people joined the group
* 16 giveaways created so far. Some people created more than one, some did not create any yet.

The game preparations are now starting.
All future announcements will be made via the group's announcements page.
Anyone who doesn't intend to play, needs to leave the group by the 14th.
Anyone who intends to play, needs to create his mandatory GA by the 15th.
Anyone who is still a group member on December 15th - is considered a participant.
Anyone breaking the game rules (as described in the group) will be considered breaking QGG rules as well, and will be kicked from both groups.
